Ryan is an experienced advocate, having spent almost every day of his professional career in courtrooms across South-East Queensland. He is committed to providing straightforward, honest and easy to understand advice to his clients. Ryan prides himself on his pragmatic, results-driven approach to criminal, quasi-criminal, and domestic and family violence matters.

Involvement in criminal and domestic violence matters is often the darkest time of a client’s life. The law is often complicated and overwhelming, Ryan strives to provide advice that is easily understandable to reduce the stress of, what can be, very stressful times.
Ryan is devoted to providing pragmatic, outcome-driven results for his clients, to ensure that they can move through the stress of legal proceedings towards the best possible result. Ryan believes that oral advocacy is the foundation of quality representation and prides himself on his ability to effectively argue his clients’ interests in court.

Ryan predominately practices in criminal, quasi-criminal, and domestic and family violence law. Ryan’s extensive experience has seen him act in a diverse multitude of matters. He routinely represents clients facing a range of offences, from simple traffic matters to the most serious of criminal offences. He excels in representing clients in domestic violence applications and clients charged with serious criminal offences, such as drug trafficking, assaults, sexual offences, and murder.


Ryan is connected with the Toowoomba community
Ryan is a proud member of the Toowoomba community, having grown up in the garden city.
He was educated locally, having attended Mater Dei Primary School and Saint Joseph’s College for his secondary schooling, where he was college captain. He also undertook his university studies in Toowoomba, with the University of Southern Queensland, where he was president of the USQ Law Society.
Ryan continues his community connection though involvement in local clubs and sport.
