You can't file for divorce earlier than that. ✅ Make sure you have considered if you are eligible for a filing fee reduction. If you are, it will reduce the costs by more than $500. You need to fill out an additional form and have your supporting documents ready. ✅ Consider if you want to jointly make the Application with your ex, or if you want to file solely. There is no requirement for your ex to sign or consent, but it can make things smoother (depending on your circumstances). If you have any troubles, reach out to our family law team. They would be happy to assist you.
